Hi everyone. Speedway United aims to bring together people who can change the game. We talked this week with Phil Morris, CEO of the British Premiership, about the need for investment into the sport and agreed to collaborate on this. Ahead of the 2027 season we need to act.
Phil is keen to meet with a working group of people connected to the media, potential sponsors/investors, people with marketing expertise etc. to come up with a plan to bring new investment into British speedway.
From our point of view in Speedway United we would like to see how as a community we could also help to get the word out more with the wider public about the package as a whole. Advertising the sport and making it easy for potential new fans to find out where and how they can watch it.
It is possible that in the event that a lead from this work results in new investment that anyone making the introduction could be rewarded for doing so and hopefully that is a greater incentive on top of the desire to get British speedway into a better place. A finders fee in effect.
